「這是我的最後」　吉特宣布退休

美國洋基游擊手吉特(Derek Jeter)，在台灣時間今日凌晨3點在自己的臉書上宣布引退，表示今年將是他最後一個球季，「我有新的夢想」。

吉特在臉書上說，自己的職棒生涯彷彿天天活在夢中，是那樣的美好，不會如人人說的「會從夢中醒來」。但吉特坦言，他去年歷經受傷，是挑戰的一年，許多有趣的事情開始變成挑戰，「數月前我開始了解到，這可能是我最後一個球季了」。吉特表示，他和親朋好友溝通之後，大家都給他百分百的支持，宣布2014年是他最後一個球季。

最後吉特說：「現在是開啟新一章節的時候了，我有新的夢想和啟發，我想要新的挑戰。」未來會把重心放在商業和慈善事業上。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
